During last 3 days we learnt how to prepare movies (digital stories and triggers).

When you want to create interesting story (for you and another also) you have to be creative and use your imagination. You have to decide which kind of picture are the most interesting (you don’t have to show everything). Story should be clearly and easy to understand, without redundant and unnecessary information (you should think about describes, kind of font, colouring, visual information). Story should be short (not longer than 3 minutes). Also track and sound have a paramount meaning (sounds giving a new meaning, emphasize video’s character).

Today we were taking about storytelling, how to create a story  and story continues. Ms Heidi Dahlsveen explain what’s the most importatnt during the presentation when we try to tell somebody some story:

1. SPEACH

* speak clearly and loudly (don’t speak to fast or to slowly, try to explain your story as clearly as it possible)

* make shure, that people in the back can hear you very well too

2. EYE CONTACT

* it’s very important to keep the eye contact with the audience (you should look from the left to the right to get the listeners involved, try to keep eye contact with everybody to avoid someone being ignored)

Workshops conduct by Ms Heidi Dahlsveen are very useful methods of learning and teaching.

During last three days I learnt a lot about Internet resources. Knowledge and skills will be useful not only for me. Presently I work as an Assistant in the Artistic Education Department (the Faculty of Fine Arts, Nicolaus Copernicus University) and I conduct Artistic Education Methodology classes. Issues presented during Latina summer school are helpful for me, but also I will share with them with students in Poland. Especially I’d like to focus on creation blog (great importance to learning and teaching, immediate exchange of information, discussion). Undoubtedly blogging can be helpful in artistic and organizing activity.

I GET TO KNOW HOW TO:
* create blog (add post, new pages, widgets – calendar, links, categories, upload pictures and videos), check comments and add new
* use PICASA3 (create albums, prepare pictures, how to use all tools)
* search, find, write (on the basic of a consciousness – how to write phrases correct – concerning the pictures, videos, text)
* use GOOGLE’S TOOLS
- Google Talk
- Google Docs (useful when you want to invite somebody to collaboration or discussion)
- Google Translate (can be use in learning and teaching)
- Google Calendars (cooperative planning, useful for you and co – worker)
- iGoogle (full of gadgets like: calendar, Google Talk, Google Translate, TV, radio, games, YouTube, dictionary, shops, weather forecast…)

CONCLUSION
Apart from knowledge concerning the Internet resources (WordPress, Google, Flicr) and program (Picasa3) working in pair, helping each other, collaboration and discussion develop our skills and cognitive curiosity.

Today I developed my knowledge a lot.  An ability to use the Internet resource, search for needed, necessary and valuable  materials is of great importance.

I get to know Picasa 3 (very simple and helpful tool to improvement pictures, create albums and upload it) and Flicr (which allow to search and found a lot of interesting pictures). Besides my skills concerning the creation blog are growing up.

Creation our own blogs was the main task during the first day of the LATINA course. It’s very important to use this kind of free form (it’s powerful tool for collecting, generating and spreading information). Besides it facilitates quick exchange, discussions and motivates to describe, express our reflection.

Today, after the official opening of the Summer School we had our own presentations (first contact with the audience).   Besides we were learning how to create our own blog. It was a really hard-workind day.
